To allow us to take bookings for the use of our studio premises, accommodation and ancillary services such as travel
To allow us to provide you with the best possible service whilst you are with us
We use the information that you have given us in order to provide you with the best possible experience whilst you use our studio and accommodation.
We may share this information with our hospitality contractors, transport providers or any other partner necessary to fulfil our obligations to you.
We also collect and process personal information for the purpose of direct marketing, which is conducted in accordance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

CCTV Privacy Policy
To ensure the best possible security for our clients and their equipment, Ayriel Studios has a sophisticated CCTV installation. The external security cameras are kept permanently on, but the operation of the internal cameras may be altered to suit your requirements for the duration of your stay. The exact configuration will be discussed with you on arrival.

How we get the personal information and why we have it
The cameras are of sufficient quality to transfer information on vehicles, such as the registration number, and the people travelling in the vehicles. Within the studio the cameras monitor the control room, common areas, external doors and the live room. These cameras allow us:
To monitor vehicles that enter and leave our premises
To provide a secure environment for our equipment and for the possessions of our guests using the studio
To allow the engineers and producers in the control room to see the occupants of the live room
To ascertain when the live room is being used
We use the information that you have given us in order:
to provide you with the best possible experience whilst you use our studio and accommodation
to augment our fire and security systems
We may share this information with the police or our security services.

How we store your information
Your personal information is securely stored on our file servers located away from the studio.
We keep your name and contact details for ten years after your booking. We will then dispose of your information by overwriting the originals and any backups.
Information collected from CCTV is safely secured on a dedicated CCTV video recorder located away from the studio. The information is automatically over-written in seven days unless it is required for criminal investigation.

Under data protection law, you have rights including:
Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
